well, you can guess that george (ghio :-) starts talking about 400 amp
resistors and batteries that last forever, while nick says "gee guys,
pg&e stock is rising today, after news that a 900 mw plant will be back
on line and the state is lining up some long-term energy contracts. the
stock is up to 10 from a low of 8 yesterday, compared to $30 in december,
and the wall street journal said today their bonds were selling for about
50 cents on the dollar (expressing surprise they were so high in the face
of bankruptcy.) why don't you invest the money you've set aside for the
pv system in pg&e stock or bonds? buy a few candles too, and a coleman
lamp that will run on unleaded gasoline. if things work out, in a couple
of weeks you may actually be able to afford a pv system, or go looking
for an investment with a better return."
