dear nick,

i've enjoyed your exchanges with the people who are rediscovering
concentrator systems. i remember a fellow 20 years ago who actually
built water tanks out of the backs of a couple of arco solar power
modules by simply sealing the backs with sheets of aluminum and had hoses
running water in and out. he used car heater hoses and had the system
with reflectors on a homemade two axis tracker. so it's coming around
again. i am almost sure it's the heat not the uv that turns eva brown,
as i haven't seen any appreciable browning on the modules at my place in
maine (which gets more than its share of uv now that the ozone hole is
bigger), but have seen quite a bit of browing on modules down here in
nicaragua.
