i'd say less on both counts. if keeping an 8 ft^3 cubical freezer
with 32 ft^2 of exterior surface 0 f in 70 f room takes 1 kwh/day,
keeping an 800,000 ft^3 freezer with 51.7k ft^2 of surface at 0 f
might only require 51.7kwh/32 = 1616 kwh/day, vs 100k kwh/day, ie
62 times less energy.
