interesting... using a dc pump and pv thermostat? what's the best
temperature setting? a 12v 1a attwood bilge pump can move 850 gph
with 3.3' of head, about 27k btu/h-ft^2, if the water evaporates,
100x more than the solar heat input.

the roof might be a silvery tarp. that might increase your wintertime
output 30%...
