on the isle of harris, people come back to their hotel from the rain and
hang up their coats in a "warm room" off the hall that's heated to about
90 f, and the coats dry quickly.
a home "drying closet" might have a $5 humidistat that turns on a light
bulb or two when the rh exceeds 60%. if it's large enough, just take the
clothes out of the washer and hang them up there, with no further labor.
