hey, maybe that's not so crazy, especially if you replace the roof shingles
with a single layer of polycarbonate plastic, and hang the long uncut strips
of solar shingles under and parallel to the rafters, and collect solar heat
for house or water heating, as appleby restaurants are beginning to do.
