seems to me the painted steel outdoor fridge skin would be ok, with a layer
of foamboard all over, well-sealed to the skin with silicone caulk. any bits
of exposed skin might have an extra layer of rustproof paint or polyurethane
varnish for rust protection, since it will be colder than usual.
