about 15 cfm per full-time occupant, eg 30 cfm for a 2400 ft^2 house with 4
50%-occupants, ie 30x60m/h/(2400ft^2x8') = 0.09 air changes per hour. an
average us house might leak 2 ach on a cold windy day, 1 ach on an average
day and 0 ach on a calm warm day. better to "make it tight" and "ventilate
it right" with something like an exhaust fan and a humidistat.
