this could be a very low power pump: 0.05 gpm can transfer about
240 btu/h per square foot of pool with a 10 f temperature rise.
the cover might move up and down a distance dh every minute,
with 0.05 = 8dh, so dh = 0.00625 feet, a bit over 1/16"...
