the ag extension agents around here are just beginning to try to interest
nurseries in making their potting media up to 25% non-human compost...

what planet are you from? around there they lose big and desperately
try to hide the expenses. these large monopolies use union labor and
miles and miles of pipes and overgrown blenders and multihorsepower air
pumps and huge tanks with rotating arms to produce sludge that cities
usually pay to have hauled away. around here, they pay farmers to let
them spread sludge on their fields, in various epa grades. the most
expensive are sludges with heavy metals that forever pollute the land
with a "lifetime cadmium loading."
