i was more concerned about a possible gross misunderstanding behind it.
you might "remove a watt of solar power from natural use" (averaged over
a year) by orbiting a 1" mirror above the earth to reflect the sun back
into space, or "remove a watt-hour of solar energy" by doing that for
an hour, but how could you "remove a watt of solar energy"?
speaking of misunderstandings, has anyone figured out how to commit
bottomry yet? ("fred lends george $100 for the use of tom's boat...")
