richard nelson of thermatics in montreal has talked about building low-cost
housing in cross-shaped solar-heated clusters of 4 with bubbleroof glazing
stretched over open aluminum web trusses to make a 2-story courtyard in the
center, over balconies, hanging gardens, tennis courts and swimming pools.
check out his 1/7/86 patent (us no. 4,562,674, replaceable foam insulation
system) on the ibm website.
